RS Windtech's Advanced Rescue Training (ART) is a specialised GWO programme that equips wind industry personnel with advanced rescue skills for complex emergency scenarios in and around wind turbines. Offered at our Aralvoimozhi facility — Tamil Nadu's first GWO-recognised institution.
Typically 2–3 days of intensive training
2-year GWO certification with refresher
GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) mandatory
Wind industry workers who completed BST




Rescue techniques for incapacitated personnel inside the hub, spinner, and blade interior — including confined space rescue procedures.
Advanced rescue operations from nacelle, tower interior, and basement areas — including lowering and evacuation at height.
Refresher on working at heights safety — fall protection, harness inspection, anchor points, and emergency descent procedures.
Refresher on safe manual handling during rescue operations — patient handling, safe carry techniques, and evacuation procedures.
ART combines classroom instruction with extensive practical and simulated rescue scenarios, ensuring participants can perform complex rescues confidently in real emergencies.
