Overview Of ART

Advanced Rescue Training (ART) is a specialized training program offered by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) that equips wind industry personnel with advanced rescue skills. Here's a detailed overview of the ART training. We are the first GWO training recognised institution in Tamilnadu. Additionally, we are India's top-ranked GWO training institute.

Training Objectives:

Training Methodology:

Duration:

  • Typically 2-3 days (depending on the training provider)

Certification:

  • GWO ART certification is valid for 2 years
  • Refresher training is required every 2 years to maintain certification

Target Audience:

  • Wind industry personnel who have completed BST training
  • Technicians, engineers, and support staff who require advanced rescue skills

Prerequisites:

  • GWO BST certification
  • A good understanding of English is recommended

Physical Requirements:

  • Participants must be physically fit and able to perform rescue operations
  • Medical clearance may be required

Equipment:

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Rescue equipment, such as harnesses, ropes, and stretchers

This training is divided into five modules:

Module 1:

  • Hub, Spinner & Inside Blade Rescue Refresher: Focuses on rescue techniques for hub, spinner, and inside blade scenarios.
  • Nacelle, Tower, Basement Rescue including Working at Heights Refresher and Manual Handling Refresher: Covers rescue techniques for nacelle, tower, and basement scenarios, with refresher training on working at heights and manual handling.
